Champions Start Here

At Agoge Gym our main goal is to bring a winning attitude and foundation to our wrestling club. Everything we do is for the positive development of the kids, peers and ourselves. At no point should our actions deter or negatively impact any of our wrestlers, wrestling community, or club. We will conduct ourselves in a respectable manner and bring forth knowledge to help our club grow and be successful. Not only do we want champions on the mat but we want champions off the mat. We will lead by example and show leadership skills that can be picked up by our peers in positive ways.

Coaches are the starting point to success for the future generations. The impact a coach can have on a child's life can be the deciding factor if individuals wanna continue with a sport or quit. Studies have shown that a good coach will bring success to those around them whether it’s in the community, competitions or practice room.  Being a part of wrestling is more than just an individual sport. It is a lifestyle choice and a dedication to yourself and community. As coaches we are not here because we know everything we are here because we still want to learn. Being a Coach is about learning every practice and figuring out how to make our wrestlers better on the mat and off the mat. We are not here to have our kids win every single match but have our kids learn from every failure. If we learn from our failures we can figure out how to win.
